AA dark maroon boy, Copper has very dense, lustrous, crimpy fiber that feels cool to the touch. His dark feet and face reveal his black heritage, which he can pass on to his crias. We purchased Coppers' dam, Milkee Way, because of her extremely dense blanket, which he has inherited. With the blue-ribbon-winning black genes from Black Jack Jax, and that wonderful hand to his fiber, perfect conformation and bite, the Copper Kid looks like he will be a good complement for the right breeding program. Copper has the quiet temperament a breeder likes to see in a stud and he has matured very nicely. He apprenticed himself to our black herdsire, Knight of Camelot, taking close note of all proceedings and preparing for his own career as a breeding male! Now The Copper Kid has settled his second female, and his first cria is due in October 2008. Copper has beautiful legs with full coverage, just like his sire, and a wonderful hand to his fleece.
